Getting to GEELONG
Situated on lovely Corio Bay, 75 km west of Melbourne, Geelong is Victoria’s largest provincial city with a population in excess of 200,000. Geelong is an attractive waterfront city that features delightful botanic gardens, the Geelong Art Gallery, Maritime Museum and the National Wool Museum and some 200 National Heritage Trust classifications have been listed in the city. Its proximity to the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula and The Great Ocean Road, have made it a popular holiday hub for visitors. It is within an hour of several National Parks, and there are some of Australia’s best golf courses and wineries in and around the city.
If you are coming for competitive events we are very close to the Barwon River for the rowing, Skilled stadium for football [walking distance], main lawn tennis courts, only 5 blocks from the main staging area for water sports [triathalon, power boats, yachting, cycling, marathons, etc.] Geelong is a beautiful City with so much to see and do and there is certainly no better located motel than the ADMIRALTY!
